Overview
Neuro Vision Technology (NVT) provides three levels of service to customers:

• First class scanning equipment for the detection and diagnosis of neurological vision impairment,
• Unique time-saving diagnostic and knowledge-base software,
• An in-depth training and competency courses both for the Neuro Vision Technology equipment, and Neurological Vision Therapy.

NVT Scanning Device

The Neuro Vision Technology Scanning Device is a unique computerised tool used for the assessment and training of people with Neurological Vision Impairment. The Neuro Vision Technology Scanning Device is portable and is provided with a dedicated laptop to run the custom design client management, assessment, training and research software.

The solution also includes Neuro Vision Technology (NVT) software which enables rehabilitation practitioners to:

• Maintain a database of demographic information on client referrals.
• Carry out standardised assessment and training exercises.
• Collate data pertaining to the individual's assessment results and progress through the various phases of training.
• Document outcome measures from training programs.
• Utilise this data to carry out research into the efficacy of training methods.

Our software is designed to enable sites to easily collaborate results across multiple countries eg. Australia, USA, UK, New Zealand, Europe.

The software has numerous applications in Allied Health areas for data collection and management.

Neuro Vision Technology (NVT) Training Package

The Neuro Vision Technology (NVT) training package provides:

• Competency based assessment and training manual, workbooks and exercises in proven techniques for O & M instructors, Rehabilitation Instructors, Occupational Therapists and Optometric technicians, involving the Neuro Vision Technology Scanning Device and standard mobility methodology.
• An understanding of the effects of an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) on neurological vision system and additional cognitive deficits.
• Training in the use of the Neuro Vision Technology (NVT) scanning device as an assessment tool for determining the presence of Homonymous Hemianopia and/or visual spatial neglect.
• Training in the use of the Neuro Vision Technology (NVT) scanning device as a training tool for enhancing visual function.
• Compensatory scanning exercises that will enhance the client's functional use of residual vision.
• Skills to transfer scanning strategies to the client's home and community setting.
• Skills to accurately determine the need for a mobility aid and/or restrictions to travel limits.
