- Design and development of electronic and mechanical components

- Development of a Neurological Vision Impairment Training Package
- Research Skills; published research pilot project used to validate the training equipment.
Greg Liddle
Greg has a Bachelor Degree in Computer Information Systems and an Associate Diploma in Electronic Engineering. He has 12 years experience as a Biomedical engineer technician and 7 years experience as a Neurosurgery technician. As a Director of Neuro Vision Technology (NVT) and the management team he contributes in the following areas:
- Software design and development
- Electronic hardware design and development
- Technical support
- Writing of the technical manual and data management.
- Development of a Neurological Vision
Impairment Training Package.
- Research Skills; published research pilot project used to validate the training equipment.
Don Verlander
Don gained his Diploma - Guide Dog Instructor Grade 1 and also a Diploma - Orientation & Mobility. He undertook a further Graduate Diploma Rehabilitation Studies and has over 40 years experience working with people with vision impairment.
He was the instigator (with the late Betty Hill - Neuropsychologist and Speech Pathologist) to develop functional vision and mobility training strategies for people with a neurological vision impairment as a result of an acquired brain injury or stroke. He also developed Auditory Training package for people with Neurological Vision Impairment.
As a Director of Neuro Vision Technology (NVT) and the management team Don contributes in the following areas:
- Development of a Portable Vision Scanning Device.
- Development of professional standards for clinical practice in all aspects of assessment and training of people with a Neurological Vision Impairment.
- Development and documentation of training strategies for professionals.
- Development of a Neurological Vision Impairment Training Package.
- Research Skills; published research pilot project used to validate the training equipment.
Allison Hayes
Allison gained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Graduate Diploma in Orientation & Mobility. She has over 18 years experience in the area of Acquired Brain Injury and Neurological Vision Impairment rehabilitation.
As a Director of Neuro Vision Technology (NVT) and the management team Allison contributes in the following areas:
- Clinical Skills; experienced in all aspects of assessment and training of clients with Neurological Vision Impairment.
- Research Skills; Responsible for the development and implementation of Research pilot project used to validate the training equipment.
- Training Skills; Development and documentation of training strategies and delivery of staff training programs.
- Principle contributor in the development of the training manual for assessment and training strategies.
- Development of a Neurological Vision Impairment Training Package.

Gayle Clarke
Gayle studied at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Graduate Studies for a Masters of Science in Vision Rehabilitation (pending). She also has a Graduate Diploma in Management and a Diploma in Orientation & Mobility. Gayle has over 25 years experience in the area of vision rehabilitation, specializing in Low Vision and Neurological Vision Impairment. She has undertaken university lecturing at Graduate and Masters level, developed staff training courses, co-ordinated international conferences, and is a committee member of the International Mobility Committee.
As Director/Secretary of Neuro Vision Technology (NVT) and the management team she contributes in the following areas:
- Marketing of package to overseas potential buyers
- Attendance and presentations at local & international conferences in the area of Neurological Vision Impairment.
- Clinical Skills; experienced in all aspects of assessment and training of clients with Neurological Vision Impairment.
- Research Skills; published research pilot project used to validate the training equipment; negotiations with international parties on feasibility of collaborative research data collection.
- Training Skills; Development and documentation of training strategies and delivery of staff training programs.
- Development of training lectures series and workbooks.
- Contributor in the development of the training manual for assessment and training strategies.
- Development of a Neurological Vision Impairment Training Package.
